For many Wilders, the Walpha Report has become a staple in their lives, as they navigate the complexities of the metaverse. New information, or Walpha, as it relates to Wilder World, is gold.
And West Wilder is here to dig it up.
Packaged neatly into a consumer-friendly report each Sunday, West Wilder has been keeping Wilders in the loop since he first launched his Walpha Report in August, 2023. With the aim of condensing all of the leaked information being provided by Wilder World team members, West and his Walpha Report have become one of the go-to sources for all the latest secrets.
“I wanted the Walpha Report to be like the Wilder World version of the old school Drudge Report,” West Wilder said. “Alerting Wilders about the most important updates from the team, and allowing them to read up, get the proper context, and interpret it for themselves.”
The idea to package this information together in an easy-to-read report was such a strong one that even n3o offered his support, and has since been one of many active participants in the community.
Another active Wilder and Walpha community member, Freestyle DesignWorks shared that the Walpha Report is his primary source for Wilder World information.
“It’s a great summary of the events, always on point, and provides the latest info as soon as it’s released, Freestyle DesignWorks said. “It’s also great to have it on file to keep track of everything going on in and around the project, so you can compare the old posts with current developments and future vision. Really cool stuff!”
As much as organic comments like these and others have been incredible motivation for West to continue his report, it’s also his vision for the future of Wilder World that has kept him eager to learn more.
He remembers discovering the existence of the metaverse through Read Player One, as well as Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook Connect conference in October, 2021. But it wasn’t until he stumbled down the metaverse rabbit hole and uncovered Wilder World that his interests turned into elation.
“My initial reaction to Wilder World, summed up in just a word, was probably: Elation,” he said. “Elation that I finally found something that I felt truly aligned with and excited about. Not only were they (Wilder World team) building a high fidelity metaverse game and virtual land platform that’s a Protopian version of GTA, but they were also building a decentralized network state in the background, which is something that I really believe in and want to be a part of.”
That connection led West to joining the Wilder community around the time of the Wolf mint in April, 2022, where he picked up an unrevealed Wolf which turned out to be a rare Mech. From there, he swapped his Mech Wolf for an Organic Wolf and a Craft, and in his words, he was “hooked.”
Despite the short-term trading of assets which will always play a role in any NFT project, West truly sees Wilder World becoming a global force in the long run, and it’s why he’s chosen to stay involved in the community.
“My vision for Wilder World a few years from now is nothing short of revolutionary,” he said. “I see it emerging as the premiere Web 3 game and metaverse platform—a fully decentralized ecosystem powered by a thriving crypto economy. Picture a booming virtual land market where players and creators alike invest in and shape the world, alongside a vibrant lineup of businesses, events, projects, and experiences that keep the community buzzing with excitement.”
In the meantime, West hopes the team will continue to keep the Walpha flowing. In return, he’ll continue to share that gold with the community, keeping Wilders up to date and allowing them to make the best decisions for themselves and their investments.
Someday, when Wilders can truly explore the Island and its surroundings, we may even see the lights of a Walpha HQ from Qube Unit #81 or Space Mind #609. That day may come sooner or later, but West is here for the journey either way.
“I see Wilder World becoming a global force, redefining how we play, connect, and even govern in a digital age, all while creating real-world impact through its decentralized ethos,” he said. “It’s a bold journey, and with the passion of our community and the power of Web 3 innovation, we’re just getting started.”
